An assortment of Pop figures from various Henson/Muppet collections.
In 2012 the Funko toy company released their first set of Muppets figures. Since then many other Henson/Muppet related characters have been immortalized in Funko Pop form. In fact there are now so many that it's worth posting a page exclusively about these fun Funko Pop figures!
Below is a list of all of the Henson/Muppets Funko Pop figures that I know of. I've only included pictures of the figures that I have in my collection as, aside from the first Muppets series, I have almost all of the characters that were made. If I counted correctly, to date there are 80 Henson/Muppets Funko Pops to collect plus 25 variants for a total of 105 (counted as boxes rather than figures, for example a two-pack boxed set was counted as one item rather than two). Out of those I have 55 Pops and I'm missing 50 (26 regular figures and 24 variants), so this page shows a little more than half of the collection. - Mikey
Muppets, 2012
The first Kermit the Frog Funko Pop! from 2012.
As the saying goes, hindsight is 20/20! Despite being a huge Muppet fan I did not collect the Muppets Funko Pop! figures back in 2012 as - believe it or not! - I was trying to wean myself off of collecting Muppets at the time, which obviously didn't work out too well! As such I only bought Kermit (shown above) even though I saw the all of the figures when they were on store shelves, so I could have very easily completed the collection! Today these Muppet Pop figures are worth a pretty penny so I've learned my lesson the hard way. Now I buy all of the new Henson/Muppet Funko Pop! figures when they are first released... if I can find them! Unfortunately some have managed to allude me!
As you can see, the first series of Muppet figures used the 2011 movie logo on the boxes. Kermit, Miss Piggy and Animal were later released in boxes that featured the Muppets Most Wanted movie logo.
Figures in the first series include:
01 Kermit the Frog
01 Kermit the Frog, metallic variant (not shown)
02 Miss Piggy (not shown)
02 Miss Piggy, metallic variant (not shown)
03 Gonzo (not shown)
04 Fozzie Bear (not shown)
05 Animal (not shown)
05 Animal, flocked variant, (not shown)
05 Animal, metallic variant (not shown)
06 Dr. Teeth (not shown)
07 Mahna Mahna (not shown)
08 Snowth (not shown)
The Muppets series boxes have all 8 figures shown on the back of the box. Metallic variants noted above were available exclusively at the San Diego Comic Con in 2013. Flocked animal was a Funko Shop exclusive.
Mahna Mahna and Snowths 3 pack, metallic variants, this set included two identical Snowth figures. (not shown)
Muppets Most Wanted, 2014, 2017, 2024
This series was a continuation from the Muppets series. Boxes are similar but have the words "Most Wanted" added in red text to the Muppets logo on the front of the box. Kermit, Miss Piggy and Animal were reissued in Muppets Most Wanted boxes, while Sam and Sweetish Chef were new to the collection. Only these five figures were shown on the back of the boxes.
Figures in this series:
01 Kermit the Frog (not shown)
02 Miss Piggy (not shown)
05 Animal (not shown)
09 Sam the Eagle (not shown)
10 Sweetish Chef (not shown)
11 Superhero Kermit (not shown)
In 2017 Superhero Kermit was added to the series as an Emerald City Comicon exclusive, which is precisely why I don't have one. The box uses the original Muppets logo (without the "Most Wanted" text) yet the back of the box shows only the five characters from the Muppets Most Wanted series. Weird huh? Well, it gets even weirder!...
Kermit and Constantine 2 pack set
In early 2024 a 2 pack set was released as a Hot Topic store exclusive that included a new figure of Kermit with a display base along with Constantine, who is the villain in the Muppets Most Wanted movie. Oddly enough, the Muppets Most Wanted logo was not used on the box and instead it's the Muppets logo from the 2011 film.
12 Kermit with mug
Around Aug/Sept 2024 Funko released a special edition Kermit figure as part of an assortment of exclusive Pop figures available on the Funko website. By late January the figure was no longer available. This is an awesome figure of Kermit making his classic frowning face while holding his coffee mug as seen on the Muppet Show. This figure also seems like a nod to the popular meme of Kermit drinking tea from the Lipton tea commercial. It's interesting to note that this Kermit's frowning mouth is identical to the one used on the figure of Constantine released in the two pack set earlier in the same year, shown above.
I was happy to see that for this figure Funko went back to using the Muppets category and numbering, making the figure number 12 in the series. Of course, the Muppet Christmas Carol series and the Baby Animal figure should have been added to the Muppet category as well, but for one reason or other they weren't, so we are still at number 12. In addition to going back to the Muppet category numbering, the box for this figure uses a new Muppets logo that is similar to the original Muppet Show title logo. This is the first time that this logo has been used on a Funko box, as the Muppets 2011 film logo was used previously. Hopefully this all means that Funko will be making more Muppets Pop figures to continue the collection!!!!!
13 Animal with Drums
13 Animal with Drums, flocked variant (not shown)
In Oct 2024 Funko released a New York Comicon exclusive figure of Animal playing the drums. The figure is available in normal and flocked variations. Once again Funko has continued with the Muppets category numbering which I like, making Animal number 13 in the series.
The back of the boxes each show only one figure even though they were both released around the same time in summer/fall of 2024.
This is an awesome Animal figure though it really should have been given a wider release. It was only made available as a New York Comic Con exclusive, which I think is a rotten thing for Funko to do as it forces collectors who can't go to the event to deal with an online scalper, and pay their crazy price for it in order to get one. If Funko wants to make the flocked / metallic / glow-in-the-dark version of figures as limited exclusives, that's fine as the variations are supposed to be more challenging to find, but the regular version of a figure should be made available to everyone equally so that everyone has a fair chance to at least complete their collection at a regular price before items reach the resale market.
Funko did the same rotten thing in 2017 with the Superhero Kermit, it was released as an Emerald City Comicon exclusive which I had no chance of getting! So now I don't have one and never will because the price of it online has always been way too crazy.
In early March 2025, several months after it was released, I got Animal as a gift from a friend of mine (thank you Duane!) who said that he managed to find it online for less than $40 with the shipping. That was quite a fluke as all the one's that I've ever seen online were $50 and up, which is way too much money for a small figure like this.
Being a "die-hard collector" does not mean that I want to pay through the nose just to own a specific figure, what it means is that I'm willing to allocate the required space in my home to display such a large and growing collection. One Funko Pop figure in the box doesn't take up much space, but 55 of them and counting is a different story.
When they limit access to figures, Funko is not being fair or respectful to their loyal customers in other parts of the world who want to have complete collections. I realize it's called "collecting" for a reason, but collecting is supposed to be fun, not frustrating. It's not supposed to make you feel like you're being excluded and passed over, or that your loyalty as a collector is being taken for granted.
Honestly, this is the sort of thing that makes me think about giving up on even trying to collect Funko Pops because if Funko isn't going to give me a fair chance to collect all of their new Muppet figures I might as well just stop collecting them!
I was surprised to see that Animal's drum set was actually three separate pieces. Animal also comes with a base to stand on. It seems as though in his Funko POP form he's too short to play the drums sitting down. LOL Despite that, I really like this figure, its very cool! If we include Baby Animal and the variants, this is the sixth Funko POP figure of Animal to be made.
Unlike most other Funko POPs, Animal has two layers of clear packaging to keep all the pieces in place, rather than just a bottom layer.
Mikey's Muppet Funko Wish List!
If Funko would release additional Muppet Pop figures to expand the collection, among my top picks would be Rowlf... if only one more figure was made I would want it to be Rowlf!... as well as Scooter, Sweetums (as a 6 inch figure) with a small figure of Robin, Animal with his drum set (Update: this figure was made in 2024!), Dr. Teeth with his keyboard (the 05 Animal and 06 Dr. Teeth figures didn't come with their instruments so these would be different versions), Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, and Lips (this would give us the complete band), as well as Kermit with his banjo. That would make for another set of ten figures. It would also be incredible if they reissued the original 10 Muppet Funko Pops!
My wish list for a third series of ten figures would include Kermit in his reporter outfit holding his microphone with a small figure of the Koozebanian Male alien, the Great Gonzo with a small figure of Camilla the Chicken, Uncle Deadly with a small figure of Pepe, the Muppet Newsman with a small figure of Rizzo, Marvin Suggs and a small figure of his Muppaphone, Gorgon Heap with a small figure of Lenny the Lizard, Thog (as a 6 inch figure), Timmy Monster (6 inch figure), Clifford wearing sunglasses with a small figure of Bean Bunny, and Miss Piggy in black jacket (with leopard spot collar and cuffs) with a small figure of Foo Foo. Lastly, the perfect exclusive figure for the Funko website would be Pops with a small figure of Gaffer the Cat (a Pop! of Pops!).
They could also make additional Muppets 2 pack sets with Bunsen & Beaker, Walter & 80's Robot, and a regular version of Statler & Waldorf. I'd also love a Pigs in Space 3 pack set with Captain Link, Dr. Strangepork and Miss Piggy in their Pigs in Space outfits, a Frackle 3 pack set with Blue Frackle, Green Frackle and Jaded Green Frackle, and a Veterinarians Hospital 3 pack with Rowlf as Dr. Bob, Nurse Janice, and Nurse Piggy. A 3 pack for Bear on Patrol with Fozzie and Link in police outfits and Banana Nose Maldonado would be hilarious! Muppet Monsters 2 packs would be awesome too, with Beautiful Day Monster and Mean Mama, or Luncheon Counter Monster with Big Mean Carl.
Additional figures would be Gonzo as Dearth Nadir, the Koozebanian Phoob, a Pigs in Space crew member pig with a small figure of the Koozebanian Female, Animal with a white Muppet bunny, Beauregard with a small figure of a Muppet penguin, Lew Zealand and his boomerang fish, Sopwith the Camel (6 inch figure), Crazy Harry, the Jim Henson Muppet, Sam the Eagle in Uncle Sam outfit, Behemoth with a small figure of Shakey Sanchez, Sweetish Chef with a Lobster Bandito, and Mildred Huxtetter with a small figure of Droop. Muppet Treasure Island Funko Pops would also be amazing.
For the Rides series they could do Dr. Teeth in the Muppet Bus, Miss Piggy on a motorcycle from The Great Muppet Caper, Fozzie in his Winnebago from the Muppet Movie, and Kermit on his bicycle. That would be such an amazing collection!
Sesame Street, 2015, 2017
In order to determine if there was a market for Sesame Street Funko Pop figures, Super Grover was released in 2015 by himself as a test figure. This is why the back of the Super Grover box is different from all the others and does not show the rest of the collection.
The back of the Super Grover box.
The back of series 1 boxes
This was followed later on in 2015 by four more figures to complete series one. The back of the boxes for these four additional figures shows only five characters.
Series 1 figures: Super Grover, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie
The regular green Oscar figure shown next to the orange Oscar variant and Herry Monster.
An orange Oscar figure was also released in 2015 as an exclusive variant available only through Underground Toys or Entertainment Earth. As such, the orange Oscar can be found in boxes with either one of those company's stickers on the front. The box shown above has the Underground Toys sticker. Herry Monster was not released until 2017 as part of the Funko Specialty Series, as shown by the sticker.

The back of series 2 boxes and the Herry Monster box show the complete set of all ten characters. Herry Monster is the 11th figure and was a later addition. As the Orange Oscar was released after series 2 was available it has all ten figures on the back of the box along with some text explaining why he is orange.

A Pop figure of Jim Henson with Ernie was made in 2019 as part of the Funko Icons series, and is shown further below (for the most part I've listed the releases in order by date).
Series 3 2024 -2025
309 Elmo on Trike, Target exclusive (not shown)
309 Elmo on Trike, flocked variant, Funko website exclusive (not shown)
In 2024 a Target stores exclusive of Elmo riding a tricycle was available. A flocked variant is also available on the Funko website here: Buy Pop! Rides Elmo on Trike (Flocked) at Funko. This figure was put in the Rides category which is why it was numbered 309, though the obsessive collector in me wishes that Funko would have put this figure in the Sesame Street category and numbered it 12 instead. It actually drives me nuts that Funko doesn't keep track of their own category and numbering system when they release new figures! This isn't the first or last time they have done this.
1526 Elmo with Rocco, Funko exclusive (not shown)
In Aug or Sept 2024 Funko released their third figure of Elmo, available on the Funko website. Buy Pop! Elmo with Rocco at Funko.
For some bizarre reason Funko did not put this figure into the Sesame Street category or continue the numbering from that collection, instead they put it into the Television category with a crazy number, 1526! Technically, this should have been figure number 13 of the Sesame Street collection. It baffles me as to why Funko doesn't keep on top of their own categories and numbering system, especially as the whole point of Funko Pops is that they are collectors items??? Why put categories and numbers on the boxes at all if they aren't going to be consistent with them?
Figures in the original boxes. It says "2 pack" in the top right corner of Bert and Ernie's box where the flash from my camera reflected.
1609 Cookie Monster as Alistair Cookie (not shown)
1610 Abby Cadabby
1611 Elmo and Tango (not shown)
1612 Big Bird in Nest (not shown)
2 pack, Bert and Ernie Bert holding a pigeon in his right hand, Ernie holding Rubber Duckie in his left hand
In Aug or Sept 2024 Funko announced the upcoming release of four new Sesame Street POP figures. I like the designs of the figures for this new series, but unfortunately Abby Cadabby is the only new character. And once again Funko also didn't use their own Sesame Street category or numbering for this series, as these should have been figures number 14 to 17 in the Sesame Street category. Instead they put these figures in the television category while Big Bird is in the Deluxe category. It makes me want to pull out my hair!!! In any case, these are all very nice looking figures and I would like to get them all, however Funko doesn't take orders through their website from Canada, which is soooooooooooooooooooooo incredibly stupid!!!!! If you live outside of Canada you can buy the figures here: All Funko Products | Funko
Update: As of January 2025 Funko has updated their website to take orders from Canada! So now Muppet fans in Canada can order all of these awesome Funko Pops too, however you have to switch over to their Canadian site from the US site (just select Canada in the option menu at the top right corner of the screen). Prices are still in US funds! Happy shopping!
For some odd reason, Big Bird and the Bert and Ernie 2 pack are not shown on the back of Abby's box, and Big Bird is not shown on the back of Bert and Ernie's box. I saw the Big Bird Funko Pop in the store today when I bought Abby so it is definitely available.
Here are the figures out of the box. Abby comes with a display base.
I added the side and back view to show Abby's wings. I think it's awesome that Funko is making more Sesame figures, but I would prefer to have characters that they haven't already made as I mentioned in my "wish list" below. I'm especially not very keen on having so many Elmo figures when there are so many other cool character that could be made instead. A few different Cookie Monster figures would be awesome though!
Mikey's Sesame Funko Pop Wish List
I'm still hoping that Funko will add more Sesame characters to the collection some day! There are still a lot of popular characters that could be made such as:
Two-Headed Monster
Guy Smiley
Forgetful Jones with Buster the Horse and Clementine (as a 3 pack set)
Frazzle
Grundgetta Grouch
Bruno & Oscar the Grouch 2 pack set (Bruno carrying Oscar)
Sam the Robot
Honkers in various colours (green, purple, pink, blue, orange)
Twiddle Bugs Family (one Twiddle Bug could be packed in as a mini figure with different characters)
Yip-Yip Aliens 2 pack set (or they could be packed in as a mini figures)
Gonger & Baker Cookie Monster 2 pack set
Cookie Monster holding a letter "C"
Abby's Flying Fairy School 3 pack set (with Abby Caddaby, Gonnigan, and Blogg)
Update: A figure of Abby was released in 2025 though I'd still be interested in a Fairy School 3 pack, either that or a separate boxed figures of Gonnigan and Blogg. I especially like Gonnigan but Hasbro never made a figure of him, only Abby and Blogg were included with Hasbro's 2012 Flying Fairy School playset. So if Funko made a Gonnigan Pop figure it would be the very first figure of him! Plush toys of Blogg and Gonnigan have also never been made!)
Biff & Sully 2 pack set (the construction workers)
Barkley the Dog
Roosevelt Franklin
Sherlock Hemlock
Waiter Grover & Mr. Johnson 2 pack set
Ernie and Bert 2 pack set (Ernie in a bathtub with Rubber Duckie, Bert wearing brown hat holding a pigeon from "Doin' the Pigeon"),
Lefty the Salesman
Telly & Baby Natasha 2 pack set
Magic Mumford
Hoots the Owl with a saxophone
Alice Snuffleupagus
Zoe (no costume)
Zoe in ballerina outfit
Rosita
Prairie Dawn
Betty Lou
Elmo holding a fish bowl with his pet fish Dorothy
It would also be super cool if they made a Pop figure of Mr. Hooper! I would love to collect all of these!

The back of Mira's box is the only one in the set that doesn't show the rest of the collection.
Mira and the Chamberlain were not shown in the assortment on the back of the boxes. Neither were the variations of Deet or the Hunter, or the two pack set.

Fraggle Rock, 2017
The complete collection of seven Fraggle Rock figures. Uncle Traveling Matt and Sprocket were later additions to the collection, which is why they are not shown in the selection of characters on the back of the boxes. Uncle Matt was released as a Funko Specialty Series exclusive figure and therefore was harder to find. Sprocket was released at the same time as Uncle Matt and was also a hard to find figure.
518 Gobo with Doozer
519 Red with Doozer
519 Red with Doozer, flocked variant (not shown)
520 Boober with Doozer
521 Wembley with Cotterpin
522 Mokey with Doozer
570 Uncle Traveling Matt
571 Sprocket
The first five Fraggle Rock figures to be released each came packaged with a Doozer figure: Gobo, Red, Boober, Wembley, and Mokey.

Here is a closer view of the Doozers
Sprocket and Uncle Traveling Matt
Fraggle Rock 5 pack box set (not shown), flocked variant, set includes flocked versions of Gobo, Red, Boober, Wembley and Mokey. Doozers were not included.
I would love it if Funko would make a 6 inch figure of Jr. Gorg! I was really hoping for one when this series was still in stores, but alas it never happened! It would be awesome to add that to the collection!
Little Shop of Horrors, 2018
Although Little Shop of Horrors was not a Jim Henson project, puppeteer Frank Oz who performed Miss Piggy, Animal, Fozzie, Bert, Cookie Monster and many other Muppets, was the director of the film so I tend to think of Little Shop collectables as belonging in my Jim Henson/Muppet collection.
653 Baby Audrey II (not shown)
654 Audrey II (full grown)
654 Audrey II, (full grown) chase edition with blood (not shown)
655 Seymore
656 Audrey with display base
657 Orin
Audrey II (full grown), Seymore, Audrey, and Orin
The sculpting detail for the Audrey II figure is very impressive!
In 2020 Funko released a Spooky Horror Advent Calendar which included several mini Funko Pop figures. Among them was a figure of Audrey II.
Audrey II mini Funko Pop figure
Jim Henson, 2019
Among my favourite of all the Funko Pops shown on this page is the Jim Henson figure, which is part of the Funko Icons series. It's very cool that Funko made him available with Ernie or with Kermit. I'd also love to have one of him with Rowlf the Dog if ever they make another variant figure. Funko has yet to make a Pop figure of Rowlf, so that would be cool! It would also be amazing if they did the same idea as this with a Pop figure of Frank Oz that came with Bert, Miss Piggy and Yoda.
19 Jim Henson with Ernie
20 Jim Henson with Kermit the Frog
The back of the boxes show just the one figure that came in the box rather than showing both as a series which is unusual for Funko. I love the Muppet Show theatre vibe that they went with for the box art! Both Kermit and Ernie have appeared on the Muppet Show. Ernie made a cameo on two episodes, the first one with Bert, the second one with a group of his Sesame Street pals. Both characters also appeared on Sesame Street as Kermit was a regular character on the show in the 70's and 80's, as well as on the very first episode.
The Jim Henson figures out of the boxes: With Ernie, and with Kermit.
A closer view to show that Kermit's irises were unfortunately painted on the top of his eyes rather than the front. Still a very cool figure none the less.
Dinosaurs, 2020
959 Earl Sinclair
960 Fran Sinclair
961 Baby Sinclair (not shown)
962 Robbie Sinclair
963 Charlene Sinclair
Dinosaurs Pop figures out of the box. A lot of detail went into the sculpting. I especially like the figure of Robbie and how they did his hair spikes.
Robbie even has graphics on the back of his jacket! That's very impressive dedication to detail by the artist's at Funko!
Muppet Christmas Carol, 2023
This is a really cool series of Muppet Funko Pops, I'm really happy to have them in my collection. Unfortunately, instead of continuing the numbering from the Muppets category of Pop figures seen at the top of this page, these Muppet Christmas Carol figures were numbered as part of Funko's movies category. I know this isn't really a big deal, but the collector in me who likes to have everything match as a complete set is just freaking out about this! LOL These should have been numbered 13 to 17 if you include the Jim Henson with Kermit figure (shown above) as number 12.
1453 Fozziwig (Fozzie Bear) with display base
1454 Mrs. Cratchit (Miss Piggy)
1455 Scrooge
1456 Charles Dickens (Gonzo) and Rizzo
1456 Charles Dickens (Gonzo) and Rizzo, flocked variant, Amazon exclusive (not shown)

For some reason the Miss Piggy figure has an extra insert piece for the packaging, shown on the far left.

Muppets Mayhem, 2023
In my humble opinion as an obsessed Muppet fanatic, the Muppets Mayhem TV series was by far the best Muppet production to be made since the Muppet Show ended. No contest!!! I just loved, loved, loved this series! It captured the spirit of the Muppets perfectly, so I was especially happy when I heard that Funko was going to be making this Baby Animal Funko Pop!
As with the Muppet Christmas Carol set, for some bizarre reason Funko did not bother to use the Muppets category for this figure and instead gave it the number 1492. They didn't even give it a category at all! Technically this should have been number 18 in the Muppets category.
1492 Baby Animal
Here's Baby Animal out of the box. He's really not very big but he's adorable!!!
It would have been awesome if the whole Electric Mayhem band was made as figures for this series. Only Animal and Dr. Teeth were included in the original Muppets Funko Pops series, so we still need Janice, Floyd, Zoot and Lips to complete the set. A new version of Dr. Teeth with his keyboard and Animal with his drum set would have been cool as well. I would have definitely collected them. And that's all there is for now to post. With any luck Funko will surprise us with more Muppet Pops figures soon!!!
